relationships: the war hounds
joshua larue sin-eater
This one, in Kasumi's opinion, was the dark horse of the War Hounds. He is the boy who turned himself into a ghost because he believed that his life had stopped, and then quietly realized that he missed living, that even ghosts had thoughts and desires of their own. And now he holds her son's heart in his hands. Many approve of him, and for the moment, she agrees with their assessment. That might change if he ends up ruining her leader. |
yulia bostova bladian
Zangyaku is all about realizing one's potential, and Kasumi saw plenty of that in this girl. Yulia, admittedly, is an interesting project for her, one that she hopes to get back to soon. For now, though, she is willing to trust Tala and Cisco to handle that one for her. |
estanislao marisigan mage
It strikes her, how much pain and frustration this one is in, and how he manages it with frightening ease the moment it becomes evident that his pack needs him. She can see why Torhu holds this one close to his soul. She can see, as well, why her son hesitates to let him any further than he has already gone. (And she wishes that she could tell Hikaru that he has nothing to feel guilty about). |
brigade promethean
Ah, the little golem who had once believed that to be human was to fall in love. She knows this to be true; she tested it for himself. One can hardly blame her for it, really: she had known of him before he had ever stepped into Seigi. She needed to know, for herself, if he was worthy of standing beside her son in the way that he wanted to. He is different now, but her question has not been answered yet. |
brianna lopez changeling
Tala has spoken to her recently; there was hurt and confusion shadowing the anger and disappointment in her words. She felt, as well, how her son's most recent memories of his third have been colored by the sting of betrayal. These things, though, are but a byproduct of a lost one's decision to find her way. Kasumi looks forward to seeing where Brianna's new path will lead her. |
kaz zobel de ayala card
Many have said that the boy had no wings of his own, and that was precisely why he had yearned for the Wings so much. Kasumi, though, always thought that he could fly just fine without them. It is good to see that he had realized that for himself. |
