Good morning, brothers and sisters. I will not mince words with regard to the events of yesterday, at the Falner Estate. The Rashinban has provided the lot of you with a full report for your perusal. I trust that you will keep yourselves informed.

Thank you, oni-tsukai of Kibo, for your quick response to the needs of Netsach. My comrades within the Dragon's conspiracy have taken pains to inform me that our participation in their battle helped swing things in their favor.

Brother Assassin shall be returning to the ranks of the Searing Wind, effective immediately. Brother Peacemaker has been exceptionally kind, and I plan on remembering the service that he has done for us while the Assassin was recovering. I expect the Zashiki-Warashi to find suitable guards for his family in New Atlantis.

The Blade King has requested that I remain in command of the conspiracy while he focuses on aiding the Dragon. All concerns, until his return, must be directed to me first.

he usually does last night.

I think the incident at Falner shook him, ma'am. Yesterday,
when Father Aidan came back, Hikaru looked ready to draw his
sword. I've never seen him like that before.

[ He hesitates before he sends that. And then he adds a little more before he does. ]

Also, if I may ask, ma'am... how badly was Seigi hit?

He was ready, then, to die as long as it meant protecting the lot of you from the Voidseeker. That is not surprising to hear.

Seigi was not hit nearly as badly as Falner was. Abe no Seimei is Seigi, and many of the Wind were around: our fight barely lasted an hour. There were no casualties.

[Hence their quick response time, with sending backup to Falner.]

I'm grateful then, that it didn't have to come to that.
It is good to know that Seigi was well-defended and that
everyone is safe.

If you wish, sister, I could keep you appraised on things
from my end where it concerns Hikaru. Though in all honesty,
I think it's mostly that he feels overwhelmed by recent events.

I would appreciate that. In spite of the connections I hold to him, I can only learn so much, and I would rather not violate his privacy any more than necessary.
